Sr. Fullstack Engineer

Our client in the Buckhead area is looking for Sr. Fullstack Engineer to join their team building event-related products. The role will be backend heavy, but you'll get to work with a cutting-edge mix of technologies and tools including Groovy on Grails, React, Redis, Postgresql, AWS Lambdas, RabbitMQ/SQS, and more.    

Specific responsibilities include:

• Work within a seasoned Scrum Team to build amazing ticketing and loyalty solutions that are used by thousands of fans each day
• Write automated tests to prove your code works!
• Review the code of your peers and ensure it meets our quality standards
• Be an example and mentor to others on the team around new technologies and best practices

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software development experience with a JVM language (Java/Groovy/Scala) or Ruby
• Experience working with high performing integrated services
• You’re passionate about technology and you want to build innovative products
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and tools quickly
• Strong coding and service level architecture skills
• You understand Object Oriented and Functional Principles and how to use them in practice
• You know SQL and general best-practices for accessing a database
• Solid understanding of API design
• You’re a strong debugger and problem solver

Nice to Have:

• You’re full-stack and enjoy working on both the front and back end
• Experience with React and Redux
• Experience with CSS/SASS/LESS
• Experience performance tuning APIs and SQL
