Sr. Backend Engineer- Python 

Our client out of the Atlanta area is looking for a Sr. Python Developer who will be working on a small team in the AI and supply chain space. The ideal candidate would have some lead experience and be able to do release management as well.

That means someone who is an independent contributor that works well with autonomy. Someone who is a self starter, who likes to get stuff done. They are growing rapidly with a lot to do, so they need someone who can work well under pressure in a high growth business.

Role Expectations/Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, thoroughly tested code
• Participate in product design and code reviews
• QA and ship code daily
• Identify, incorporate, and communicate best practices

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of Software Development experience with advanced Python 
• Experience building secure and reliable cloud-based SaaS applications
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Experience or strong knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, etc.)
• Experience developing highly-scalable RESTful APIs
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) software and deployments
• Experienced with Git / Github

Nice To Have

• Experience in a startup environment
• Experience working on a small team with high visibility
• Experience with Python Analytical frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn
• Knowledge of Flask and Flask-RESTful
